Wonderful American Idol Contestants Yet

 Season 10 of the most popular reality TV show American Idol is about to reach its finale. This show has produced some of the best music artists in American music industry. But few of the contestants really made more out of it then just getting the American Idol title.

I know this may be one of those controversial posts which trigger a long comment thread fights but we have no purpose in doing so. People selected below have proven themselves by selling record albums worldwide and have gained fame not just only from the show. Here i have complied a list of the 10 best american idol contestants till season 10.

Carrie Underwood

She has bagged awards more then you can imagine. After winning the fourth idol season Carrie Underwood has gained immense popularity with her tracks which have reigned billboard charts for long.

Kelly Clarkson

After winning the inaugural season of American Idol, the winner never looked back. Grammy winner Kelly Clarkson is the most successful American Idol contestant to date, factoring record sales worldwide.

Adam Lambert

Runner up of season 8, this ‘pop rock” gay artist has paved his way to form one of the most successful record label in American music industry.

Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer has achieved it all. Starting from American Idol where she came 7th in 2004, moved on to film industry where she received Oscar for best actress in supporting role for movie ”Dreamgirls”. She has also won a Grammy for her debut album.

Chris daughtry

Chris Daughtry ended up at fourth place in idol season 5. He later on formed a band “Daughtry” whose debut album has become the fastest selling debut rock album in history.

Jordin Sparks

Jordin sparks won the 6th idol season and became the youngest to win the title. She was 16 at that time. Her track “No Air” with Chris Brown is the highest selling single track by any American Idol contestant.

David Archuleta

David Archuleta was one of the youngest contestants of Idol season 7 and was the runner up of competition. His single “Crush” was at number 2 on billboard 200 chart.

Katharine McPhee

Katharine also was the runner up of season 5 of American Idol. Her songs have made plenty of times on top 20 of Billboard 200. She  was also named one  of the 100 most beautiful people on earth by People’s Magazine.

Kellie Pickler

Another country music sensation,Kellie pickler got her fame from American idol season 5 where she ended up 6th. Her first album was certified Gold by RIAA three hot singles on country music charts.

Pia Toscano

This season 10 contestant has already been compared various times with “voice giants” like Mariah Carey and Celine Dion. Her departure this season is considered the most shocking elimination in American Idol history.
