College will be the best time of your life. You will venture out of your shell, learn more, will explore greater opportunities
and change. However many students receive a lot of advice that is not
very useful before they enter their undergrad. Many see it as a party
central and many just envision four years of gloom and doom.
Most incoming college freshmen have assumptions about what student life
will be like at school. While some ideas are true — the cafeteria food
probably isn’t prepared by gourmet chefs and your dorm room
likely won’t have a Jacuzzi — other assumptions can make you feel
“different” or as if you don’t measure up. Freshman year is a maze of
possibilities,
so don’t let these myths about student life get you down.
Myth #1 - Life at college is constant party.
